Bio: June Farley lives in O'Fallon, IL. She is a photographer and painter. She will be leaving for Italy at the beginning of October to be married, but will be back just in time for her show at the Betty Dare Gallery in Chicago, IL.
Influences: June is influenced by feminist literature such as The Yellow Wallpaper and A Jury of Her Peers and is also influenced by a general awareness of the roles presented before her from day to day. She is also interested the idea of 'found' art, materials, and places, very inspiring, and works that idea conceptually into her work.
Education: June received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in Photography. Her secondary emphasis was Graphic Design. She also received minors in Art History and Women Studies. June also studied abroad for two summers at the Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare, Ireland.
