Description:: In the “House Series” the woman is present examining this domestic space; the significance is reflected in its state of decomposition. The conflict in the photographs is presented through an apparent outward calm demeanor while she is performing a hopeless task. e wallpaper can be seen as a metaphor for her identity. She is present, but in need of redenition. She is aware of her expectations, but this awareness does not complete her. The camera captures the space, freezing time; a moment for both her and us to reflect on the slow process of decay.
